How many of these have you seen on Ebay?

1. "Rare clippings"

 They don't exactly print magazines in single numbers do they? How the heck can they be rare?

2. "One day only magazine".

Normally used to refer to a supplement in a newspaper. A scam to make you believe you are bidding on something unique - the fact that 100,000 were printed is not mentioned.

3. A description of the pack but no picture

 You would hardly go into a shop and buy clothes you hadn't seen would you? If you were male you may leave the shop wearing a dress!

4. A picture of a magazine with a title something like "Britney Spears Magazine".

When you receive it only 2 pages of this 200 page magazine actually feature the celebrity.

5. A guarantee of safe shipping.

When you receive your clippings they are in a flimsy brown envelope and they are crushed as your postman pushes them through your mail box!

6. Clippings not available from any other dealer

Rubbish!

7. Huge pack of clippings

Some dealers use the word huge to refer to a pack of 15 or so celebrity pictures. I would personally rather provide fans with a package worth having.

8. No other dealer sends "bonus celebrity items" along with the clippings.

More rubbish !

Ok so lets be honest about this I have pointed out the above because I would like you to buy celebrity packs from UKCLIPPINGS on Ebay rather than going elsewhere.

But believe me I do my research and keep an eye constantly on the competition on Ebay (personally I don't think there is any competition) and I am more often than not horrified by what I see. Many clippings dealers out there are not honest about what exactly is in the pack, how securely it will be shipped and the phrases above are used time and time again. The people I feel sorry for are the ones who have been caught out by any of the above scams and who have little to see for their hard earned cash. Negative feedback may help future buyers deter from bidding but many buyers are worried about "retaliatory  negative feedback" and take the soft option of neutral feedback. Whatever happens your money has still gone.
